Вот бы тех. писатели освоили трансформацию док в диаграммы.
Тогда и доки станут интересными. :)

Кстати, так и делаю - доки и исходники перегоняю в Mermaid syntax через LLM.

Как можно собрать свою лабу и протестировать отказоустойчивость у себя?

Note:
На MSSQL последние 20+ лет (enterprise предпочитал Oracle или MSSQL).
Сейчас шаблоны меняются - PGSQL вполне валидное решение, но если переходить, то сразу на масшабируемую DBMS, чтоб у ent не было вопросов.
Хорошо бы сделать тестовый продукт под PGSQL c HA.

Основное назначение Кластера - отказоустойчивость или масштабируемость?

- Каково время переключения в случае отказа мастера?

До 20 лет чел учится.

Беспилотники тестируются на дорогах в стране моего проживания.
Какая же здесь теория, если это факт?

Дождь, снег, освещение - эти условия отрабатываются алгоритмами как штатные.

Вы, если не ошибаюсь, описываете внештатные, как норму для беспилотника.
Никто не спорит, что беспилотник можно "озадачить" условиями на которые он не рассчитан, но это не значит что бесполотники - тупиковое направление.

Пилот в тепличных услових - относительно легко и понятно. А дальше то что?

Каждому инструменту свою задачу.
Если беспилотники работают на хороших дорогах - пусть работают на них.

Пользуемся GitLab CE (self-hosted). Денег не берут.

Использую похожий подход, но через прослойку под названием DataSource.
DataSource - таблица в базе, которая хранит разные SQL запросы с параметрами доступными снаружи через API.
Безусловно, запрос безопасный для базы, с проверкой параметров на SQL Injection и permission check.

Не дурно. В свое время WinNT4.0 нужно было 12-16mb для шустрой работы, но там другие задачи.
А эта OS может прекрасно вписаться в IoT, когда ресурсы ограничены.

Для процедур есть собственный процедурный язык, похож на оракловый PL/SQL, триггеров нет, пользовательские функции будут немного позже.

Для меня это ограничение:
1. Я не хотел бы учить новый язык для описания сложной логики в базе
2. Гораздо удобнее использовать существующий язык с возможность подключения готовых библиотек
