Конференция MIX'10, которая пройдет в Лас Вегасе с 15 по 17 марта – это крупнейшее мероприятие из мира web-разработки (более 130 докладов и выступлений). И хотя мероприятие проводит Microsoft, на MIX найдется место докладам и выступлениям независимых экспертов с разных компаний и на разные темы: Ruby, Python, SVG, HTML5, oData, jQuery. Большое количество докладов посвящено UX.
Например, Molly Holzschlag из Opera Software, которую Wiki называет одной из самых влиятельных женщин в Web, прочтет два доклада на тему открытых стандартов и HTML5. Джон Ресиг расскажет про jQuery, Мигель де Иказа про открытый проект Mono. Десятки других независимых докладчиков поделятся своими знаниями и мыслями. За некоторое время до начала MIX в сеть начали утекать данные и информация о новых технологиях. Так, например, стала доступна финальная версия ASP.NET MVC 2. А еще ранее немного рассказали про opensource-проект Silverlight Analytics Framework.

Open Standards
Web и открытые стандарты – это две неразделимые вещи. Поэтому на MIX много сессий на ту тему. Как я уже писал, Molly Holzschlagпрочтет доклад из двух частей на тему HTML5. Miguel de Icaza из Novel расскажет про открытый проект Mono. Участники и специалисты из W3C Doug Schepers и Patrick Dengler расскажут про стандарт SVG. Несколько докладов посвящено новому открытому стандарту доступа к данным oData.

Еще одной центральной темой конференции должна стать информация о Internet Explorer 9. Ожидается, что IE9 научится поддерживать SVG, получит новые возможности HTML5 и CSS3. В IE9 появится GPU-ускорение текста и графики. Обновятся инструменты разработчика Developer Tool. Ждем с интересом, вероятно в ходе конференции выйдет публичная версия IE9 CTP.

Если судить о векторе развития Web по количеству докладов, то можно сделать вывод, что традиционные средства отходят на задний план, а на передний выходят облачные вычисления и средства RIA. Однако списывать традиционные средства разработки web-приложений еще очень рано. На MIX’10 нас ждет с десяток докладов на тему ASP.NET, в том числе о новой версии ASP.NET MVC 2. Обратите внимание на доклад HaaHa от Фила Хаака и Скота Хэнсельмана, очень интересный доклад в ходе которого Фил будет пытаться взламывать код на MVC 2, который будет писать Скот.
