Is it a pure ad material? I mean — the author did not even mention that Slack will eat all your RAM and ask for more, as it is Electron-based bloatware instead of proper set of native clients (4 of them could cover large market share: Windows, Linux, Mac OS/iOS, Android).

Slack WAS one of the first apps of this kind… But since then: in case your organization has Office 365 subscription — you can use Microsoft Teams, that works similar in MS environment. Or just use Telegram, they've added good management abilities for group chats recently. Anyway the post is kind of Slack ad, nothing really special, for example why Slack is better than others on the market?
