You should not ever reference «AngularJS» when talking about modern Angular (v2.0+) and vice-versa. For all practical intents and purposes, they are two different frameworks that have quite little in common (besides generic concepts). I can't help but notice that this article is a messy mishmash of both: most of the marketing text seems to describe Angular, while code snippets are from AngularJS.
